If you wish, there is an opportunity to ring in the new year afterwards with the Bülacher Silberglöggli bell. To this day, the Silberglöggli bell is rung manually with a rope. As it is only heard twice annually, at the turn of the year and on the 1st of August (Swiss National Day), it is something quite special every time.
